Palworld could be on its way to a mobile device near you. Krafton, the publisher of PUBG: Battlegrounds, has agreed a licensing deal with the game’s maker, Pocketpair, to bring the smash hit to mobile.

Palworld developer Pocketpair may be facing a lawsuit from Nintendo, but that’s not stopping it from pursuing a mobile version of the game. On Wednesday, Krafton — the publisher behind PUBG: Battlegrounds — announced that it acquired the license for Palworld and will optimize it for mobile gaming,

Krafton says it plans to faithfully reinterpret the original game's 'main fun elements' with PUBG Studios at the helm for the smartphone version.

Anyway, in the interim, Pocketpair is still chugging along with its plans for Palworld, having now announced that it's signed a licensing agreement with Krafton that'll see a mobile version of the game get made.

A mobile version of Palworld is officially in development at PUBG studio Krafton, and the company is pledging to faithfully adapt what makes the game fun.

PUBG Studios is developing the mobile version of Palworld, though additional details were not provided in the press release. Following Palworld's release in January 2024, scammers quickly created fake versions of Palworld for mobile, prompting Pocketpair to warn fans to remain vigilant.

Palworld is officially coming to mobile devices as PUBG developers are tackling the port under parent company Krafton.

Palworld launched in early access in January, and The Pokemon Company said at the time it would "take appropriate measures to address any acts that infringe on intellectual proper

"There is no Palworld application for phones," Pocketpair said earlier this year, warning against the proliferation of fake Palworld mobile apps appearing on the App Store and Google Play. But someday there will be.

Palworld will officially be making the jump to mobile devices sometime in the near future. Developers PocketPair and PUBG publisher Krafton Inc. have announced a new licensing agr
