MacIntyre made double bogey on the Road Hole Saturday during the third round and rebounded with a bogey Sunday in the final round. He shot 67-72-65-70 to tie for 25th place. Tyrrell Hatton birdied the 18th hole to shoot 70 and win the Dunhill Links for the third time. He topped Nicolas Colsaerts by a shot.

MacIntyre tied for 25th at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on Sunday at St. Andrews, but he could’ve placed higher if not for stumbling in both weekend rounds at the Road Hole, the par-4 17th. He made a double on Saturday and then had a bogey on Sunday, after which he had plenty to say about the hole.
