Thieves kidnapped a 9-week-old puppy from the Oregon Humane Society on Monday night, but the dog, named Fireball, is now back home at the shelter and safe. Fireball was taken from the Humane Society on Northeast Columbia Boulevard around 7 p.m. Monday, spokesperson Laura Klink said in an emailed statement on Tuesday.

In the video, released by the Oregon Humane Society, a male suspect is seen taking the puppy from a cage and putting her under his shirt. He makes his way outside and enters a car occupied by other people.

Surveillance video showed a male grabbing the puppy from its cage and placing it under his shirt before running outside to meet with a group of people.
