Narendra Modi inaugurates Mumbai’s first underground metro, the BKC to Aarey JVLR section of Mumbai Metro Line - 3 costing around ₹14,120 crore

Narendra Modi criticised the previous MVA government for delaying the Metro 3 project for two and a half years, which he claimed increased its cost by Rs 14,000 crore.

Mumbai Metro Line - 3 is a key public transport project to improve commuting between Mumbai city and Suburbs. Fully operational line-3 is expected to cater to about 12 lakh passengers daily.

The fares in the Mumbai Aqua line will range from ₹10 to ₹50, with services available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM onwards on weekends.
