Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his country has intelligence information that 10,000 troops from North Korea are being prepared to join Russian forces fighting against his country, warning that a third nation wading into the hostilities would turn the conflict into a “world war.

"We have sensitive sections of this document that are classified," the president said during the EU summit in Brussels on Oct. 17. He emphasized that Ukraine needs assistance on these issues as soon as possible.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s victory plan includes bringing Ukraine into NATO and replacing U.S. troops with battle-hardened Ukrainian ones at outposts throughout Europe.
