At around 10:33 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a 911 call from an unknown man who requested police at the Church at the Epicenter, located at 2401 N. U.S. 281, in Burnet. Deputies determined shots were fired from a member of the church's "volunteer safety team."

Law enforcement is looking for two armed suspects that fled from outside a Burnet County church Sunday morning after they were confronted by a security guard.

The founder of the church said members were shaken by the incident and grateful the church security member was there.
