McDonald's is bringing back its iconic Boo Buckets just in time for Halloween 2024. Here's when you can get your own trick-or-treat pail in Phoenix.

According to McDonald's officials, the Boo Buckets are available with Happy Meals while supplies last. Dunkin's Halloween menu hit shops Wednesday, with everything from food and drinks to Halloween decorations, costumes -- and a spooky bucket.

As part of its Halloween offerings, Dunkin' just came out with a Munchkins Bucket — not to be confused with McDonald’s Happy Meal Boo Bucket.

McDonald's confirmed Tuesday it's bringing back its iconic Halloween Boo Buckets. However, on Instagram, a number of people responded to McDonald's posts complaining they were not happy with the design for 2024.

McDonald’s Boo Buckets have devloped something of a cult following over the years, with fans of the fast-food chain looking forward to the release of the Halloween-themed pails each year. The festive buckets were first introduced in 1986, but went on hiatus in 2016 — making their triumphant return to restaurants in 2022.

McDonald’s also offered its iconic Halloween buckets last year, but with a bit of a different design. In 2023, the buckets – which were white, green, orange, and purple – came with lids. The different faces on the buckets included a monster, skeleton, mummy, and vampire.
